Bulk Delete Twitter/X Lists
Lists are easy to spin up and easy to forget: a feed you built for a job you've left, a watchlist from a phase you moved past, a group you named as a joke. They sit on your profile for years, public for anyone to read. Twitter/X has no bulk delete, so by hand it's one list at a time. Redact wipes every list you own in one pass, or filters down to just the ones you want gone.

Your public lists are basically a second public profile
A List is a named group of accounts with its own timeline feed, separate from your main one. People build them to follow one beat: local reporters, other parents, every founder in an industry. You can add any account whether or not you follow it, which makes a public list a quiet map of who you're watching, its name, description, and every member visible to anyone who looks.
They expose your interests, likes, and dislikes
The name alone does the talking: who you watch, what you are into, the rally you turned up to. A recruiter or a stranger reads all of it before they reach a single one of your tweets.
They go stale and stop representing you
The list you made for a job you have left, or a phase you are well over, does not update itself. It just sits there, quietly wrong about you.
They pile up unseen and unmaintained
You can spin one up in a few taps and forget it by the next morning. Most people have no idea how many they have left sitting out in public.
Remove every list, or just specific ones
Redact pulls the lists you own. Run an unfiltered pass to remove all of them, or narrow with filters to delete only the ones that match.
- Public or private. Public lists show on your profile; private ones are visible only to you. Redact removes either.
- Only the lists you own. Lists you subscribe to or were added to belong to someone else, and stay untouched.

Wipe all Twitter/X Lists, or target with precision
Run an unfiltered pass to remove every list you own at once, or narrow the batch with three filters and Redact deletes only the lists that match:
Title keyword
Match lists whose name contains a word, like every list with "2021" in the title.
Description keyword
Catch the ones whose description gives them away, even when the name looks innocent.
Member-count range
Set a minimum and maximum, like only the tiny lists with fewer than five members.
Deleting a list does not unfollow anyone
A list is a grouping that sits beside your follow graph, not part of it. Removing one changes nothing about who you follow or who follows you. The accounts that were on the list stay exactly as they were, and no one is unfollowed.

Frequently asked questions
Open Redact, pick Twitter/X, choose Delete Lists, and run an unfiltered pass. Redact removes every list you own in one go, with no clicking through them one at a time. List deletion is a premium feature.
Yes. Filter the batch by title keyword, description keyword, or member count, and Redact removes only the Lists that match. Everything else stays untouched.
No. Deleting a List removes only the list itself. You keep following everyone exactly as before, and your own followers are unaffected, because a list sits beside your follow graph rather than inside it.
Public lists show on your profile, and anyone can see their name, description, and members. Private lists are visible only to you. Redact can delete either kind, since both are lists you own.
No. This cleanup is for the lists you created and own. Following someone else's list, or being added to one as a member, is theirs to manage, not yours, so it is left alone.
