People who view your profile can also view your past activity. Deleting old posts can help your profile reflect your current work and views.

Job announcements and hiring posts can remain on your profile after you leave a company.
Keep posts with more likes
Use the Engagement Filter to delete posts at or below a likes limit while keeping posts above it.
What this feature does
Delete all posts or filter the results
Select Posts to find the content you published. You can filter posts by text, date, or number of likes. The Offensive Content Filter, in the desktop app, includes only posts whose text is classified as offensive. It excludes a post that has no text, such as an image without a caption. Leave the filter off if you want to include posts regardless of their text.

Text filter
Include only posts that contain a word or phrase you enter, such as a company name or topic.
Likes limit
Include only posts with a like count at or below the number you set.
Date range
Include posts from one period. LinkedIn provides approximate post dates, so posts near the start or end of the range may be included or excluded.
Offensive Content Filter
Include only posts whose text is classified as offensive. The filter excludes posts that have no text. It covers posts and comments, in the desktop app only.

How to bulk delete your LinkedIn posts

Download Redact for free
Download for your device →Install Redact on your device. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, plus iOS and Android.

Connect your LinkedIn account
Open Redact, choose LinkedIn, and sign in. Redact connects to LinkedIn from your device, so Redact's servers do not receive your login details.

Select Posts
Select Posts in the Things to delete list. Clear any type that you do not want to include.
Redact is free to download, but you need the Ultimate plan to use it with LinkedIn. The plan also includes Slack, GitHub, Email, Stack Exchange, Medium, and Yelp.

Add filters if you need them
Add words to the Text Filter, set a likes limit in the Engagement Filter, or choose a date range.
LinkedIn reports the age of a post or reaction, such as "1 year ago," instead of its exact date. Redact estimates the date, so posts and reactions near the start or end of your range may be included or excluded. Allow extra time on both sides of an important cutoff.

Preview, then delete
Run a Preview and check the results. Then switch to Deletion.
Nothing is uploaded to Redact
Redact connects to LinkedIn from your device to read and delete posts. Redact's servers do not receive your content or login details.

Frequently asked questions
Connect LinkedIn in Redact, select Posts, and leave the filters empty to include your complete post history. Run a Preview, check the results, and then switch to Deletion. You need the Ultimate plan to use Redact with LinkedIn.
Yes. Set a likes limit in the Engagement Filter to include posts at or below that number. A higher limit includes more posts. The filter applies only to posts because LinkedIn does not provide like counts for comments. If a run also includes comments, Redact keeps every comment when you set a likes limit.
Yes. When LinkedIn deletes a post, it also removes the comments on that post. Comments you wrote on other people's posts are a separate type in Redact. You can delete them with the LinkedIn comments feature.
Redact handles company page posts through a separate Business Posts option for enterprise customers. Contact Redact through the business page if you need that option.
