Your posts tab is the front page of you. A recruiter, a landlord, a significant other, or someone you just met all land on the same feed, and they start reading from the top to get a candid picture of who you are.
Past you had a lot of opinions
Some of them were actually good takes. Some of them, not so much. Either way, the moment you were reacting to is long gone, and without it every post just reads as something you said out of nowhere with no context.
Curate instead of nuking
This doesn't have to be an all or nothing operation. Keep the posts that still earn their place and clear the filler. Redact lets the feed you show the world be one you actually want people to see.

Clear an era, a topic, or all of it at once
A blank filter queues your entire posting history for removal. More often you want less than that, so scope it with Redact's filtering options. A date range retires one chapter of the account, keywords pull similar topics out of the feed, and together they can be as narrow as one bad month.

Select what you want to delete
Wipe everything, or narrow it down first
Leave the filters blank for a full sweep, or stack them so Redact only queues the posts that match every rule you set.
Date range
Absolute dates or relative ranges, with presets from yesterday back to all time. Relative ranges stay accurate on every scheduled run.
Keywords to delete
Only queue posts whose text contains your words or phrases. Matching is whole-word, so a short filter won't catch half your history.
Keywords to preserve
Whitelist the phrases you never want touched. A post matching a preserved keyword is skipped even when everything else matches.
Post has an image
Restrict the run to posts that carry an image, video, or link preview, so your plain-text posts stay where they are.
Engagement filter
Set a likes ceiling and Redact only deletes posts at or below it, so the ones that actually landed stay up.

How to mass delete your Threads posts with Redact

Connect your Threads account
Open Redact, choose Threads, and sign in. Your login goes straight to Threads from your machine and never touches a Redact server.

Check Posts in the content picker and leave Replies, Reposts, and Quotes unchecked if you only want your original posts.

Run a Preview to see every post that matched before anything is removed, so nothing is a surprise.

Run it, or schedule it
Start the deletion and watch each post come off, use Review and Delete to approve them as you go, or set a Schedule so future posts matching your rules are cleared automatically. Turn on the local archive first if you want your own copy of everything that's removed.
Your history isn't our business
Redact runs on your device and talks to Threads directly from there. Your login and your posts never pass through a Redact server, and the local archive keeps a copy on your machine before anything is removed.

Yes. Content types are selected independently, so you can check Posts and leave Replies, Reposts, and Quotes unchecked. Only your posts are included in the run.
Yes. That's the classic use of the date range filter. Set it to something like "older than two years" and the early era comes off while everything newer stays. On a schedule, that window keeps rolling forward on its own.
Yes. The Engagement Filter is a ceiling on likes: set a number and Redact only queues posts at or below it, so your best-performing posts stay up. You can also whitelist phrases with the preserve keywords so anything mentioning them is skipped.
No. Deletions on Threads are permanent. Use Preview mode to check the batch before you confirm, and turn on the local archive if you want to keep your own copy of what's removed.
Your post is what Redact removes. What happens to the conversation under it is up to Threads, so archive anything you want to keep before you run the deletion.
