Delete LinkedIn Content by Date Range
Use a date range to delete LinkedIn content from one period while keeping content outside that range. The range applies to conversations, posts, comments, and reactions.

Reasons to filter by date
Delete content from a selected period
A date range can limit deletion to content before a cutoff, after a cutoff, or between two dates.
Delete content from a previous job
Use the dates when you worked at a company to find related announcements, hiring posts, and comments.
Delete older activity
Set an end date to delete older content while keeping newer activity.
Keep content outside the range
Redact includes only content within the dates you set, so content outside the range remains available.
What this feature does
Apply one date range to four content types
Set a start date, an end date, or both. Redact applies the range to conversations, posts, comments, and reactions. LinkedIn provides exact times for comments and the most recent activity in each conversation. For posts and reactions, LinkedIn provides an approximate age such as "1 year ago," so items near the start or end of your range may be included or excluded. LinkedIn does not provide dates for follows, people follows, or group memberships, so the range does not apply to those types.

How to delete LinkedIn content by date

Connect your LinkedIn account
Open Redact, choose LinkedIn, and sign in. Redact connects to LinkedIn from your device, so Redact's servers do not receive your login details.

Pick the content types
Select Conversations, Posts, Comments, Reactions, or any combination of those types.
Redact is free to download, but you need the Ultimate plan to use it with LinkedIn. The plan also includes Slack, GitHub, Email, Stack Exchange, Medium, and Yelp.

Set your date range
Choose a start date, an end date, or both.
LinkedIn reports the age of a post or reaction, such as "1 year ago," instead of its exact date. Redact estimates the date, so posts and reactions near the start or end of your range may be included or excluded. Allow extra time on both sides of an important cutoff.
A reaction is dated by the post you reacted to, not by when you reacted. React today to a post from 2019 and the date range reads that reaction as 2019, so a range ending before today still matches it.

Preview before you run it
Run a Preview and check the oldest and newest matching items. Posts and reactions use estimated dates, so use Review and Delete if you want to keep items near the start or end of your range.
Redact filters content on your device
Redact applies the date range on your device. Redact's servers do not receive your content for filtering.

Yes. Content must be within the date range and contain one of your Text Filter terms. For posts, you can also set a likes limit in the Engagement Filter, and Redact applies all three filters together.
No. LinkedIn does not provide a date for a follow or group membership, so Redact cannot apply a date range to those types. Use the Text Filter to narrow results by name with the LinkedIn unfollow feature or LinkedIn groups feature.
