Questions reveal your travel patterns
Asking about solo travel, a specific neighbourhood, or the dates you will be away says more about you than a review ever does. Those details do not need to stay published once the trip is over.

Tick Forum posts under Content Types and Redact pulls your forum activity into the queue: the questions you asked and the replies you left. Forum history clusters around trips you were planning, so the filters work the same way. A date range sweeps the years you were most active; Text Content catches every post where you mentioned one city; together they can be as narrow as one vacation's worth of questions.
A post's place name only exists when the thread is tied to a location, so the Place Name filter narrows a forum run to those posts specifically. Preview the list before you run it, and keep the archiver on if you want your own copy of the advice you gave.

Connect your TripAdvisor account
Open Redact, choose TripAdvisor, and sign in. The session is created on your own machine and used to talk to TripAdvisor directly, so your login never touches a Redact server.

Under Content Types, tick Forum posts and untick Reviews if you only want the forums cleared. Then narrow the batch, or leave the filters blank to queue your whole forum history.

Good to know: deleting forum posts from the last 30 days is free, filters included. Clearing anything older than 30 days needs a paid plan. Most TripAdvisor forum posts are years old, so a paid plan is the realistic route for a full clear-out.

Preview the thread list
Run a preview and Redact shows every post the filters caught, without deleting anything. Switch to Review and Delete if you would rather approve them individually.

Archive and run it
Leave the archiver on so your own copy of each post is written to your device first, then start the deletion.
Heads up: a deleted forum post is gone for good. Redact has no undo, and the archive on your machine is the only copy you keep.

Yes. Add the destination's name to the Text Content list and Redact only matches posts containing it. Matching is whole-word, and you can stack it with a date range to narrow the batch further.
Yes. Put a word or phrase from those posts on the preserve list and Redact skips any post containing it, no matter what the other filters caught. Review and Delete gives you the same control post by post.
No. Redact removes the posts you wrote, using the same removal action TripAdvisor's own interface performs on your own contributions. Everything else in the thread belongs to the people who wrote it and is untouched.
No. Bubble ratings only exist on reviews, and Redact applies the rating filter to review items only. Ticking bubbles changes nothing about which forum posts a run matches, so leave that filter empty when you are clearing the forums.
