Why delete LinkedIn likes?

Your LinkedIn reactions say more about you than you think. Whether it’s outdated opinions, sensitive topics, or posts that no longer reflect your values, old likes can leave the wrong impression on employers, clients, or colleagues. Deleting them helps keep your profile focused, relevant, and professional.

What Redact can do

Redact allows you to delete your LinkedIn reactions in bulk, using filters that target exactly what you want to remove. Instead of manually scrolling through years of engagement, you can clean everything up in minutes.

Please note: mass deleting your LinkedIn Reactions with Redact requires a Redact Ultimate subscription. You can try Redact for free on Twitter/X, Discord, Reddit, and Facebook!

4. Filter by Date Range

If you only want to delete reactions from a certain time period:

  • Use the calendar tool to quickly pick a specific day, month, or year

To reset the filter, click the red “Reset” button.

5. Delete Reactions by Keyword

If you’re looking to bulk delete reactions about a certain subject, Redact.dev has precise keyword filters you can use.

You can bulk delete all reactions with specific keywords. This is only available on the Advanced Mode form.

6. Choose Your LinkedIn Reaction Deletion Mode

Redact offers four deletion modes to fit your needs, so you can mass delete reactions with as much (or as little) precision as you want.

  • Preview Mode: this lets you see all results based on your filters, before you delete anything.
  • Review & Delete: this lets you preview all reactions, and bulk-select as many as you want for permanent deletion.
  • Deletion Mode: instantly erases all matching reactions based on your filters.
  • Schedule Deletion: allows you to automate ongoing reactions deletion based on your filters.

We recommend previewing before running a full deletion to avoid accidental loss.

Mass Delete LinkedIn Reactions FAQ

Can I remove all my LinkedIn reactions in one pass?

LinkedIn does not offer a single remove all button. You can clear reactions in batches using Redact's date range and keyword filters.

How do I connect Redact to LinkedIn to start a reaction cleanup?

Open Redact and choose LinkedIn. Sign in, then select Reactions from the LinkedIn menu. Redact runs on your device and only uses the access needed to find and remove your reactions.

Which reaction types can Redact remove on LinkedIn?

You can target Like, Celebrate, Support, Love, Insightful, and Curious. Choose All or pick individual types if you only want to remove some reactions.

Can Redact remove the reactions I left on posts?

Yes, every one of them, whether the post is your own or someone else's.

What modes does Redact provide for LinkedIn reaction cleanups?

Use Preview to see matches with no changes, Deletion to remove matches, Review & Delete to approve items, and Schedule Deletion for recurring sweeps.

Can I remove reactions from a specific time period only?

Yes. Choose Before, After, Between, or All Time. This helps you clear older reactions while keeping recent engagement if that suits your goals.

Is there a free option in Redact for LinkedIn reactions or do I need Premium?

You can start for free with recent history. Upgrade to Premium to remove All Time reactions and to unlock bulk cleanups across more services.

How does Redact handle LinkedIn rate limits during large cleanups?

Redact batches actions and spaces requests to respect platform limits. If you have years of activity, run smaller date slices or schedule several passes.

Will removing reactions change how my posts look on LinkedIn to others?

You are removing your reactions on other content. Counts displayed on those items will reflect that your reaction is gone. Your own posts are not edited by this action.

Can I keep a private record of what I reacted to before I remove anything?

Yes. Export your LinkedIn data or capture a list of matches from Redact Preview. Store the record offline or in encrypted storage if you want a private archive.

Does Redact store my LinkedIn credentials or any of my content on its servers?

No. Redact runs on your device and uses the minimum access required to execute your actions. You can disconnect LinkedIn from Redact at any time.

Can I undo a removed reaction after a cleanup finishes?

There is no native undo for bulk removals. You can react again on individual items, but you should assume the old state cannot be restored in one step.

Can Redact schedule recurring reaction cleanups so new activity does not pile up?

Yes. Save your filters and use Schedule Deletion to run weekly or monthly. This keeps your engagement history aligned with your privacy goals.

How do I verify that reactions were actually removed from LinkedIn?

After the run, open a sample of posts you reacted to and confirm the reaction icon is not highlighted. Re run a Preview pass in Redact to check for any stragglers.

Is Redact easy to try, and how do I sign in securely for LinkedIn?

You can download Redact for free and start with recent history. Redact uses passwordless sign in with secure email codes, and you can upgrade any time for All Time cleanups.
