Clear years of Facebook posts in one pass

Keep list
Add words or names to a preserve list and Redact skips any post that matches, no matter what your other filters catch.

Narrow to posts that contain text, or to posts with none, like a bare photo or check-in with no caption.
Location only
Limit the cleanup to posts that carry a location tag, so old check-ins and place tags come off without touching the rest.

How to mass delete your Facebook posts

Frequently asked questions
There is no single remove-all button inside Facebook, so Redact works through filtered batches instead. Leave the filters open for a full sweep, ticking My posts in groups if those should go too since that type is off by default, or narrow them down, and you preview every batch before anything is removed. Redact loads your whole timeline, so you are not limited to the recent posts Facebook shows in the app.
Status updates, photos, videos, check-ins, and shared links on your timeline. Comments, likes, and tags are separate content types with their own controls, so clearing posts leaves those alone unless you target them too.
Yes. The media attached to that post on your profile goes with it when the post is deleted. There is no standalone photo deleter reaching into your albums on its own: photos and videos come off as an attachment filter within Posts. Any separate copies you saved elsewhere stay where they are.
Deleting removes the post from your profile for everyone. Hiding only takes it off your own timeline view, so it can still be reachable elsewhere. Redact issues real deletions, so matching posts come off your profile.
Yes, and it is worth doing. Archive your posts locally first so you have a private, offline record of your content and media, then store it somewhere safe before you clear anything.
