Redact clears Trips, list by list
Tick Saved places (Trips) under Content Types and Redact loads the Trips on your account rather than the individual places inside them. Deleting one removes the whole list in a single call, which is how TripAdvisor stores your saves in the first place.
A Trip has no date of its own, so Redact dates it by the most recently added item in the list. That is deliberately preservation-safe: a Trip you added something to last week is not caught by an "older than" filter, even if the list itself was created years ago. A Trip with no dated items at all is treated as undated and is left out of any date-filtered run entirely, so it can never be swept up by accident. To clear those, run without a date range.
Text Content matches a Trip's title and description, and Place Name matches the Trip's own title. Preview before you run, and keep the archiver on for your own copy.

Clear the lists you are done with
The filters read a Trip's own fields: its title, its description, and the dates of the items inside it.
Date range
A Trip is dated by the most recent item added to it, so a range clears the lists you have genuinely stopped touching and leaves anything with recent activity alone.
Undated Trips are skipped
A Trip with no dated items is treated as undated and excluded from any date-filtered run. Run without a date range if you want those cleared too.
Text Content to delete
Only delete Trips whose title or description contains one of your words, so one destination's plans come off and the rest stay.

Always keep the lists you are still using by putting a word from their title or description on the preserve list.

For a Trip, the place name is the Trip's own title, so this filter matches the list name itself.

Connect your TripAdvisor account
Open Redact, choose TripAdvisor, and sign in. The session is created on your own machine and used to talk to TripAdvisor directly, so your login never touches a Redact server.

Tick Saved places (Trips) and set your filters
Under Content Types, tick Saved places (Trips) and untick Reviews if you only want the lists cleared. Then narrow the batch, or leave the filters blank to queue every Trip on the account.

Good to know: a Trip whose most recent activity falls inside the last 30 days is free to delete. Reaching back to lists you stopped touching years ago needs a paid plan, which is where most saved Trips sit.

Preview the lists
Run a preview and Redact shows exactly which Trips are queued, before anything is touched. Remember that each row is a whole list, not a single saved place.

Archive, then clear them
Leave the archiver on so a copy of each list is written to your device first, then start the run.
Heads up: deleting a Trip removes the entire list and everything saved inside it. There is no undo, so make sure the preview looks right.
Your plans stay on your machine
Redact runs on your device and talks to TripAdvisor directly from there. Your login and your Trip lists never pass through a Redact server, and the archive copies are written to your own disk before anything is cleared.
