Four ways to narrow a review batch
Filters stack, so precision compounds. Every one of them is available on the free 30-day window as well as on a paid plan.
Date range
Retire everything older than a date you pick, or carve out one window. Absolute dates and relative ranges both work, and a relative range stays accurate on every scheduled run.
Text Content to delete
Only delete reviews whose text or place name contains one of your words. Matching is whole-word, so a short filter will not swallow reviews you meant to keep.
Text Content to preserve
Always keep reviews containing a word you list, whatever the other filters catch. Useful for the write-ups you are proud of.
Place Name
Only delete reviews about places whose name contains one of your terms, so one hotel chain or one restaurant comes off and the rest of your history stays.
Review Rating
Tick any of the one to five bubble ratings and only reviews with those ratings are matched. This filter applies to reviews and nothing else.

Open Redact, choose TripAdvisor, and sign in. The session is created on your own machine and used to talk to TripAdvisor directly, so your login never touches a Redact server.

Run a preview
Start a preview and Redact lists exactly which reviews the filters caught, without removing anything. Tighten the filters until the list is right. Switch to Review and Delete if you would rather approve them one at a time.

Archive, then delete
Leave the local archiver on so a copy of every affected review is written to your device before it is removed. Then start the deletion and Redact works through the queue from your machine.
Heads up: deleting a review is irreversible. It comes off your profile and off the business's page, and Redact has no undo.
Nothing leaves your device
Redact runs on your machine and talks to TripAdvisor directly from there. Your login and your reviews never pass through a Redact server, and the local archive keeps your copy on your own disk.

Yes. The Review Rating filter takes the one to five bubble ratings as checkboxes, so ticking one and two queues only your lowest-rated write-ups and leaves the positive ones published. The rating filter applies to reviews only; it has no effect on photos, forum posts, or saved Trips.
Yes. Put the property's name into the Place Name filter and Redact only matches reviews about places whose name contains it. Matching is whole-word, and you can stack it with a date range to narrow further.
Yes. Removing a review pulls it from the location's page as well as your profile, and Redact fires TripAdvisor's review-unpublish call alongside the removal so it does not linger. That makes it a permanent change for the business as well as for you, which is why the preview pass is worth running.
No. Redact has no undo once a deletion runs, and TripAdvisor does not restore removed reviews. Use Preview to check the batch before you confirm, and leave the local archiver on to keep your own copy of everything that comes off.
