Frequently asked questions
Yes. Multi-word phrases work the same as single terms, so a full name, an address, or a specific inside joke is a perfectly good list entry. Redact matches the whole phrase against your titles, bodies, comments, and chats.
Preservation wins. On comments and chats you can set a keep list beside the cut list, and anything matching the keep list survives even if it also matches a delete word. Note that posts have a subreddit preserve list rather than a keyword one, so protect posts by subreddit instead.
It does. The Chat Messages tab has its own delete and preserve keyword fields, so any conversation holding a matching message can be cleaned out along with your posts and comments. Chat deletion is a Premium feature.
