Redact Discord plugin

The plugin is built into Redact, so there is nothing separate to install. In the Redact app, open your account menu, go to Plugins, and turn on the Discord plugin. Then fully close and reopen Discord for the Redact button to appear in your channel header. New to Redact? Download it free first.

Inside Discord those messages reappear in place, faded with a "Redact deleted" label that only you can see, and you can toggle that view from the Redact menu. They are not restored for anyone else, and nothing is uploaded to a Redact server.

No. Disappearing mode is a recurring scheduled check, not a real-time deleter. It runs on this device while the Redact app is open.

Yes. The plugin is just a button inside Discord; the Redact desktop app does the actual deleting. For a one-off cleanup, have the app running when you send the request. Disappearing mode's recurring clears also only run while the Redact app is open, so leave it running for schedules to keep firing.
