Delete Discord Content by Type
Redact can target a single type of Discord content, or all eight at once. Isolate images, videos, stickers, files, embeds, links, sounds, or text, then clear only that type across your servers and DMs. Leave your text chats untouched, or wipe everything - you stay in control.

Message Types
Select which message types to delete
The media you shared is the riskiest part of your history
Text scrolls by, but the images, videos, and files you posted stick around in servers and DMs long after the moment has passed. Targeting a single content type lets you clean up the exposure without erasing conversations you want to keep.
Images and videos expose more than words
A screenshot, a photo, or a clip can reveal your face, your location, and the people around you. Clearing old media shrinks what someone can dig up from years of scrolling.
Old files and attachments pile up quietly
Documents, ZIPs, and voice clips you uploaded once tend to sit in channels indefinitely. Isolating files lets you sweep them out without touching the rest of the chat.
You should not have to nuke everything
Discord makes you delete message by message, with no way to target just one kind of content. Redact lets you remove every image, or every video, while leaving your text chats intact.
Zero in on one or more content types to delete
Open the content-type list, uncheck everything except the type you want, and the run only queues messages that match. Delete every image you have ever sent, every video, or every file, or combine types and clear them in one pass. Add as many as you need, then preview the batch before anything is removed. Everything runs locally on your device.

Content type
Target images, videos, links, embeds, sounds, files, stickers, or text, one at a time or several together.
Servers and channels
Limit the run to specific servers and channels, or select all of them.
Direct messages
Clear media from a single DM or group DM instead of a server.
Date range
Layer a date range on top to clear a single period, or leave it set to all time.
Four ways to run the deletion
Preview
Review every matching message before a single one is removed. Best for a first pass.
Deletion
Clear everything that matches your content types and filters in one pass, once you trust the criteria.
Review and Delete
Get a list of matches and remove them batch by batch, or exclude individual messages.
Schedule
Save your filters and run a recurring cleanup so new media never piles back up.

Your information never leaves your device
Redact connects to Discord from your own device, so your messages and login never pass through a Redact server. It uses only the access needed to delete what you choose, and you can disconnect Discord the moment you are done. No middleman, no secret stash, no leftovers.

Eight in total: images, videos, links, embeds, sounds, files, stickers, and ordinary text. Each has its own checkbox under Specific message types, so you can isolate a single type or tick several to clear them together in one pass.
In the Specific message types list, uncheck every box except the type you want gone. Leave only Videos ticked and the run targets only videos; leave only Files ticked and it targets only files. Stack a server, DM, or date filter on top to narrow the batch further.
Yes. The same content-type filter covers videos, files, stickers, embeds, links, and sounds. Select the type you want, or pick more than one to remove several kinds of media in a single run.
Yes. Open the delete from Discord tab, choose the DM or group DM, and target only images, videos, or files to pull shared media out of a conversation. Run a Preview first to confirm exactly which attachments are in the queue before anything is removed.
Redact matches whole messages, not parts of them, so a content-type run queues any message that contains the type you picked. If a single message pairs a caption with an image and you target images, that whole message is removed, caption included. Run a Preview to see exactly which messages match before you confirm, and uncheck the other content types to keep the run narrow.
