They act on two different lists. Unfollowing clears the accounts you follow, your Following list. Removing a follower clears the accounts that follow you, your Followers list. This tool handles the second one. To clean up who you follow instead, use Redact's TikTok unfollow tool.
TikTok has no native remove-follower button, so Redact removes a follower the only way TikTok allows: it briefly blocks the account, which severs the follow, then immediately unblocks it. In the normal case they stop following you and no block is left in place. If that unblock step ever fails, Redact flags the follower and prompts you to unblock them manually, so blocking someone for good always stays a deliberate action you take yourself.
No. Removing a follower only changes who follows you. No videos, likes, or accounts are deleted, not theirs and not yours. You are simply clearing accounts off your followers list.
No, and that is a TikTok limit rather than a Redact one. TikTok does not record a date for when someone followed you, so there is nothing to filter on. Instead of a date range, Redact shows your full followers list and lets you choose exactly who to remove.
