There's no easy way to see all your SoundCloud comments
SoundCloud has no screen that shows everything you've ever commented. Your comments sit on every track you passed through, other people's and your own, in front of whoever is listening years after you typed them. Redact finds them for you and removes only the ones you want.
They sit on the track, not on your profile
A comment doesn't appear on your profile where you would notice it. It sits on whichever release you left it on, usually somebody else's, and it shows up every time a new listener scrubs past that second.
Old comments still carry your current name
A joke you left at 1:24 of a track in 2018 reads differently today, and your current name and avatar are still attached to it. Clearing the old ones removes them without changing anything else.
Keyword filters target specific comments
You may want to remove one phrase, an old handle, or a name you would rather stop appearing next to. Keyword filters match on whole words, so they catch those comments and leave the rest alone.
Deleting comments by hand takes a long time
Cleaning up by hand means remembering every track you ever commented on, finding your comment on the waveform, and deleting them one at a time. Redact does the whole lot while you get on with something else.

The run covers every comment you left anywhere on SoundCloud, including the ones on your own uploads. Check Comments on its own and your tracks, likes, and reposts stay out of the run entirely.

How to delete your SoundCloud comments

Download Redact for free
Download for your device →Install Redact on your computer. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Deleting content from the last 30 days is free on every plan, and reaching further back into your history needs Premium.

Connect your SoundCloud account
Open Redact, pick SoundCloud, and log in. You sign in on your own device, and Redact talks to SoundCloud directly from there. Your login never passes through a Redact server.

Check Comments, then set the scope
Easy mode handles a straight comment clear-out, so tap Comments and pick a date range. Open the Advanced form for the keyword lists.

Preview, then let it run
The full match list shows first. Preview only lists, so if it caught something you want to keep, tighten the keywords and preview again, or switch to Review and Delete and decide comment by comment. Then start the run and leave the app open until it finishes.
Your comments stay on your device
Redact fetches, matches, and deletes your comments entirely on your own device. The text you wrote is never uploaded, cached, or logged on Redact's side, and you can cut the SoundCloud connection with one click.

No. Redact removes only your own comment. The track, its play count, and everyone else's comments are untouched, because Redact can only remove content that belongs to your account.
Yes. Add the words to the delete keyword list, and Redact queues only the comments that contain one of them. Matching is on whole words, so a short keyword won't catch half your history by accident. The match also covers the title of the track your comment is on, so a track name works as a keyword too.
No. Deletion is permanent on SoundCloud's side, and Redact keeps no copy on any server. Use Preview to read the batch before you confirm, or Review and Delete to approve each comment one at a time.
No. The app running on your device requests your comments from SoundCloud and deletes them there directly. Nothing about the comment, its text, its track, or your account is sent to a Redact server at any stage.
Comments from the last 30 days are free to delete on every plan, with all the filters. Older than that and you need Premium. The line is drawn on how old the comment is, not on how long you've had Redact.
Yes. Save your filters and use Schedule mode, and comments that age into your rules keep getting cleared on each run. Redact has to be running for a scheduled run to fire, so leave it open in the background.
