What an account's age tells you
What the date an account was made can tell a moderator, and what it can't.

Questions about Discord account age
Paste the account's user ID into this Discord account creation date checker. The date the account was made is built into the ID, so the checker reads it out in your browser. Nothing is asked of Discord, so neither Discord nor the account's owner ever finds out that you looked it up.
Account age is the quickest thing to check, and it's only one sign. A new account costs nothing to make, so this Discord account age checker gets more cautious the newer the account is. It shows red under 7 days, yellow under 90 and green after that. Those cut-offs are the checker's own rule of thumb, not figures from Discord. A new account can belong to someone who just joined, and an old one can be bought or left to age, so watch what the account actually does before you decide to trust it.
No. The date is part of the ID, and Discord sets the ID once, when the account is made. There's no setting, no support request and no Nitro perk that changes it afterwards.
Turn on Developer Mode in Discord, under User Settings, then Advanced. After that, right-click a user and choose "Copy User ID". On a phone, press and hold their name. You can also paste a profile link or a mention instead, and the checker picks the ID out of whatever you paste.
Yes. The date comes from the ID itself and not from Discord's records, so a deleted, banned or disabled account still shows the day it was made, as long as you have its ID.
No. The ID is read in your browser and is never sent to Redact or to Discord.
The date is the moment the person finished signing up, not the first time they posted or joined a server. An account that shows as 5 minutes old really is only 5 minutes old.
