Enformion

Enformion doesn't sell to consumers and doesn't run a lookup site a member of the public would land on. It sells identity resolution - the business of deciding that a name, an address, a phone number and a date of birth all belong to one person - and it licenses that answer to financial services firms, debt collectors, e-commerce platforms, law firms and government agencies. Its own about page describes a 40-plus-year historical consumer and business identity graph covering "over 98% of the US population", built on 6,000 alternative data sources, and its August 2026 acquisition release puts a harder number on it - more than 120 billion records covering 98% of the US adult population.

The part that matters to a reader is where that data ends up. Enformion is the supplier behind consumer-facing brands this directory already covers - SearchPeopleFree is a thin front-end on the Enformion API, and the same source feeds Whitepages Pro. When you opt out of one of those sites you're suppressing a display surface, not the record underneath it. This page exists because the record underneath has its own opt-out and almost nobody knows about it.

The corporate picture is unusually legible for this category, because Enformion files a real street address rather than a registered-agent box. 1915 21st St, Sacramento, CA 95811 is the address on Enformion, LLC's California filing, and it's also the address on the filing for Mississippi Tornado Alley, LLC - the registrant behind ten consumer brands, FastPeopleSearch, USPhoneBook, SmartBackgroundChecks, CyberBackgroundChecks, Advanced Background Checks, FastBackgroundCheck, PeopleSearchNow, PhoneBooks.com, SearchPeopleFree and USA People Search. Those two are the only registrants at that address in the entire 603-row California registry. It's also the address PeopleFinders publishes as Confi-Chek's headquarters.

The BBB record is worth reading with care rather than quoting flat. The Sacramento listing for Enformion carries a D rating, isn't accredited, and shows 5 complaints in the three-year window with one left unanswered. But it also gives a business start date of October 20, 1987 and incorporation in 2000, both of which sit well before the Enformion brand existed - so the listing looks like it's attached to an older entity's record. We're reporting BBB's fields as BBB's fields rather than treating that date as Enformion's founding.

Enformion publishes nothing publicly - there's no page with your name on it to find. What it holds shows up in its own California filing, which is more revealing than most because the registry asks direct questions and the answers are on the record.

Enformion's privacy portal states outright that it handles requests for "Enformion and our affiliated websites, including Tracers.com and Endato.com". We checked the routing rather than taking that on trust - tracers.com/opt-out/ redirects to enformion.com/opt-out/, and endato.com redirects to go.enformion.com. So one submission covers the whole family, which is unusual in this directory and worth knowing.

Enformion has almost no consumer review footprint, which follows from selling to businesses rather than to the public. The one platform that does carry it grades it near the floor.

Enformion, LLC has been a named defendant twice in the federal dockets we can search, both in the 2024 wave of data-broker litigation. Both dockets are now closed.
