We’re Making Mass Deletion Even Easier on Twitter, Facebook and Reddit

In the next 24 hours, users running Redactions on Twitter (or X), Facebook and Reddit will be greeted with a streamlined deletion experience.

To receive the update, just fully exit and reopen Redact!

Once your version of Redact is up to date, bulk deletion on Twitter, Facebook and Reddit will look like this by default:

Features

  • Content type selector – choose specific content types to mass delete
  • Date range selector – bulk delete content within specific dates
  • Data package import (for platforms that offer a data package)
  • Deletion mode selector – preview before you delete, bulk delete everything that matches, select and delete or schedule your deletion to run in future.

We’re rolling this out for three of our biggest platforms, to better address the needs of the majority of new users, looking for a simple & easy mass-deletion solution.

We recognize that many of our users use advanced filtering and preservation features – none of this is going away.

You can toggle between easy mode and the original, advanced deletion form with a single click on Redact for Facebook, Reddit and Twitter.

Just look for this toggle, at the top right of the page for each service:
