How to Delete Multiple Pinterest Pins or All of Them at Once

Pinterest does let you delete more than one pin at a time. The catch is that it only works inside a board, one board per round, and the pins you saved without ever choosing a board can't be selected there at all. For a handful of boards that's fine. For years of saving, Redact can clear every pin on your account in one run, or only the ones matching filters you set.

Delete One Pin
Open the pin, click the three dots above it and choose Edit Pin. The menu has no delete option.
The Edit this Pin window that opens has a Delete button in its bottom-left corner, apart from Cancel and Save on the right. That's the only way to delete a single pin from its own page.
Delete Multiple Pins From a Board
This is how Pinterest lets you delete many pins at once.

Open your profile and click the board.

Click Organize, the first round button under the board's name. Pinterest opens a page called Select and reorder, with every pin on the board shown on it.

Click each pin you want gone, or Select all in the top corner to pick the whole board.

Click the bin icon at the bottom of the page, the last of its three buttons.

Pinterest asks if you're sure you want to permanently delete these pins. Click Delete.
The same page can move the selected pins to another board or into a new section, which is handy if you're tidying rather than clearing. Repeat it for every board you want emptied.
Clear Every Pin With Redact
Redact deletes pins through Pinterest on your own computer. You pick which boards to clear, and an All Pins entry at the top of that list covers every pin you've saved, unorganized ones included. Deleting pins needs Redact Premium, though the app is free to download and set up.

Download Redact and connect Pinterest
Download Redact for Windows or macOS, create your account and choose Pinterest. Sign in to Pinterest inside the app when it asks. Your login goes straight to Pinterest.

Open the Pins tab
Click the Pins tab. The others are Boards, Comments and Search History.

Choose the boards
Under Delete in Boards, pick All Pins to reach everything you've saved, or tick only the boards you want cleared. Redact won't start a pins run until at least one is picked.

Narrow it down, if you want
Every filter on the Pins tab is optional, and they stack. Leave them all empty to delete every pin on the boards you picked, or fill in only the ones you need.
Keywords to delete only deletes pins whose title or description contains one of your words or phrases. It matches whole words only, so "art" won't catch "party".
Links only deletes pins that link out to an address you list. A full link works, so does one cut at a slash, or a path like /shop/ to match it on any site.
Domains only deletes pins pointing at sites like etsy.com or youtube.com. It matches the domain exactly, so a subdomain like shop.etsy.com won't count.
Site Names matches the source name Pinterest shows, like Etsy or YouTube.
Repin Count only deletes pins whose repin count falls in the range you set, which is the quickest way to cut the ones nobody else saved.
There's no date filter for pins. Pinterest doesn't tell Redact when you saved a pin, so a date range couldn't tell an old pin from a new one. Boards and comments do carry dates.

Preview, then delete
Pick Preview Mode and start it. Redact lists every pin it would delete and removes nothing. When the list looks right, pick Deletion Mode and press Start Deleting. Keep the app open while it works through them, which can take a while on a big account.
Review & Delete sits between the two, showing matching pins in batches for you to approve. Schedule Deletion reruns your settings on a timer, so pins you save later get cleared too. The pins page has more on how each filter decides which pins get deleted.
Clearing Boards Too
Deleting a board deletes the pins in it, so if you're done with whole boards it's quicker to remove those instead. Deleting Pinterest Pins FAQ
Can I delete all my Pinterest pins at once?
Not across your whole account on Pinterest itself. Its Organize tool selects and deletes every pin on one board at a time, and pins outside any board need moving into one first. Redact's All Pins option clears everything you've saved in one run.
How do I delete multiple pins on Pinterest?
Open a board, click Organize, click the pins you want gone or Select all, then click the bin icon and confirm with Delete. Repeat it on each board you want emptied.
Why can't I select my unorganized pins?
The Organize button under Unorganized ideas only moves pins into a board. Move them into one, then delete them from that board, or delete each pin from its own page.
Can I get deleted pins back?
No. Pinterest warns the delete is permanent, so save what you want to keep first.
Can I delete only some of my pins?
Yes. In Redact you can limit a run to chosen boards, keywords, links, domains, site names or a repin count range, and run a Preview first to check the list.
