That's how the site describes itself, and both its copyright line and California's data-broker registry put zabasearch.com with Intelius, LLC. ZabaSearch's own opt-out page is gone, and both of its rights links lead to Intelius' privacy center instead, so a removal starts with Intelius.

The homepage says a free search "may discover name, age, address, and partial phone number information". The search box itself never shows results here, though. Type a name or a phone number and you land on Intelius. The free listings sit on ZabaSearch's directory pages instead, reached through its A-to-Z name indexes, and they carry full phone numbers with the carrier and line type, current and past addresses, possible relatives, aliases and partly hidden email addresses.
A "Trending Names in the News" panel on the homepage links a dozen named people straight to their listings, which puts people in front of visitors who weren't looking for them. The Public Records Notice that opens over every page spells out what paying adds, "sensitive information (criminal record, address, phone number, property, civil judgment, and more)".
Advice that names a ZabaSearch opt-out page is out of date. /optout and /opt-out both return a 404. The site's rights links, Exercise My Data Privacy Rights and Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, open intelius.com/privacy-center, and so does the Opt-Out form its FAQ points to. Its Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are Intelius' own pages.

How do I get off ZabaSearch?
Through Intelius. ZabaSearch has no opt-out form of its own. Its rights links and the Opt-Out form in its FAQ open Intelius' privacy center, which sends you to PeopleConnect's Suppression Center. PeopleConnect says the tool covers name searches on all of its people-search sites. Work through our Intelius removal guide, then check ZabaSearch's name index a few days later. Email privacy@intelius.com about anything still showing.
The opt-out link I was given returns an error. Why?
Because zabasearch.com/optout doesn't exist any more. It returns a 404, and so does /opt-out. The working route is Intelius' privacy center.
What does ZabaSearch show about me for free?
More than its homepage admits. The copy mentions name, age, address and a partial phone number, but its listing pages show full phone numbers with the carrier, current and past addresses, possible relatives, aliases and partly hidden email addresses. The A-to-Z name indexes make a listing reachable by someone who wasn't searching for you.
