There's a gap here worth naming. Infomatics LLC, which files PublicSearcher with California, reported 3,516 deletion requests in 2024 and said it granted every one. Meanwhile the removal form on this site refuses every attempt, blaming a CAPTCHA it never displays, exactly as it did on 10 August 2026. Whatever those 3,516 requests travelled through, it wasn't this form. We haven't seen a request complete by email either, but email to the operator on its California filing is the written route left, alongside California's DROP platform if you live there.

The form is not worth your afternoon. It has rejected everything put through it since at least August, and the site says nothing about being broken. Write instead.
What works
Requests go to support@privatereports.com, which is odd-looking until you know that Infomatics LLC files three domains together and nominated that one address for all of them. It's the contact on the California registration, so it's the channel the company chose for precisely this purpose.
Name yourself, give the state your listing shows, and describe the record well enough that somebody can pick it out. Ask for deletion, not suppression. Keep your sent copy and note the date, because a dated request to a registered broker is the thing that has weight later, and a form that refuses you leaves no trace at all.
If you live in California there is a better first move. Registered brokers have had to process deletion requests routed through the California DROP platform since 1 August 2026, and Infomatics LLC is registered, so one request there reaches it whatever this form is doing.
That 3,516 figure is the useful part. The company has already told a regulator, in a public filing, that it grants deletion requests and grants them in full. A written request asks it to do the thing it says it does.
Say you tried the form and it refused. Attach the error if you captured it. It closes off the reply that sends you back to the website.
For the record
publicsearcher.com/api/helper/optOutLight/search opens on Remove My Information, wanting a first name, last name, city and state, with zip, phone and email marked optional. Note the order of events. It collects all of that before it tells you whether it will do anything with it.
Submitting returns "Captcha verification failed. The requested feature is not available." and a countdown that bounces you to the form. No CAPTCHA appears anywhere in the flow, so there is nothing you could have answered differently.
MugshotLook fails with the same message, and it sits on the same Infomatics filing. Two of that filing's three sites turn people away identically. The third, PrivateReports, runs the same software through to completion, which is how you know the fault is in the deployment rather than in anything you did.
Two screens, then nothing. Documented here so the failure is recognisable, not because persisting through it achieves anything.
If it fails
A month of silence. Reply on the same thread instead of starting again. One chain carrying dates is a record; several separate notes are not.
Told to use the website. Repeat the request and describe the error. Their form failing is not your problem to solve.
Pointed at a different company. Requests about privaterecords.net go to Private Records LLC, which is a separate business from Infomatics despite how similar the names look. Say clearly that your request concerns publicsearcher.com.
The listing returns. These sites refill from public records and other brokers, so check again in a month or two and send it again if it has come back.
Stay off
Assume it comes back. The record is rebuilt from upstream sources rather than typed in once, and a site that couldn't process your request the first time has little reason to remember it.
