The site's privacy policy opens by stating that it "describes the information processing practices of Truth Now LLC ('PeopleSearchUSA')" - a first-party identification, which most of the sites in this template family never provide. The California data-broker registry agrees. Truth Now LLC's current filing covers four websites, checksecrets.com, peoplesearchUSA.org, inmatesearcher.com, and sealedrecords.net, and registers the DBAs "Checksecrets, PeopleSearchUSA, inmate searcher, SealedRecords" against the same Glendale address.

The registry also shows the portfolio growing. The 2024 registry row for Truth Now LLC listed checksecrets.com alone; the current row adds the other three domains and the DBA string.
