Note – Redact operates 100% locally, on your device for added security. Because of this, deleting your account may not be reflected in the Redact app until you log out. Additionally, attempting to login after deleting your account will trigger the creation of a new account.

Step 1: How To Delete Your Account

To delete your Redact.dev account, simply click this link to your account page, or in the Redact app, go to settings and click “Delete Account” – this will open a browser where you can continue the process.

Step 2: Delete Your Account

On this page, you can permanently delete your Redact account by selecting the ‘Delete Account’ button. When you click this option, a confirmation pop up will appear prompting you to review the account deletion details.

You will need to check the required boxes to confirm that you understand deleting your Redact account will cancel your subscription without a refund and that the account deletion process is irreversible.

After confirming these details, click ‘Delete Account’ to complete the process and permanently remove your Redact account.
