How to remove your info from EmailFinder
EmailFinder has no working opt-out of its own. The EmailFinder-specific form that used to sit on PeopleSmart's site is gone - the URL now returns a 404, checked by hand on August 11, 2026 - and emailfinder.com itself serves PeopleSmart's email-lookup page at every address you try. How removal works
Removal runs through PeopleSmart
EmailFinder no longer hosts a removal path of its own. The brand-specific form the family's registry filing pointed at - peoplesmart.com/svc/optout/emailfinder - returns a 404 (we checked by hand on August 11, 2026; the Cloudflare wall in front of it had been masking that from automated readers), and every path on emailfinder.com serves the same PeopleSmart email-search page.
The request that actually gets filed is PeopleSmart's opt-out at peoplesmart.com/app/optout/search - a flow we walked on August 7, 2026.
The PeopleSmart removal guide documents that flow with screenshots - note it searches by name plus optional job title and company, because PeopleSmart's opt-out targets its contact index.
The "comprehensive" portal is not a substitute. The BeenVerified family publishes a comprehensive opt-out at beenverified.com/svc/optout/search/comprehensive_optouts and its filing names that one URL for all 13 brands, but testing across the family in August 2026 found a submission there suppresses BeenVerified and nothing else. PeopleSmart's form is what clears the record behind EmailFinder. Afterward, search your own email address on emailfinder.com to check the reverse-lookup side, not just your name.

EmailFinder draws on the same public-records, county-office, and commercial-vendor sources PeopleSmart and the rest of the BeenVerified family use, and those sources refresh on their own schedules. Recheck periodically, and file separately on each of the other family brands you turn up on, because each one keeps its own suppression list.
