This one makes you wait, and it does it twice. The form spent hours answering HTTP 429 before it would take a request at all, which no sibling site did, and then nothing happens until you click the verification link it emails you - an email the site gives itself 48 hours to send. Either delay is a decent way to lose a removal from somebody who assumed it had gone through. Free, and about five minutes of actual typing. Budget more patience than that. Persistence wins this one.

Fill out the removal search form
Go to weinform.org/api/helper/optOutLight/search. The page is titled "Remove My Information" and instructs: "Enter the name and state in the form below to locate the record you would like to remove." Enter the first name, last name, city, and state on the record (zip, phone, and email are optional but tighten the match), then hit SEARCH. Expect CAPTCHAs along the way - this platform serves several back to back in one pass, so keep solving and moving.

Pick your record out of the results
The results page is headed "Select the person you would like to remove" and lists each candidate's name, age, and location history. Check the age and the cities before clicking REMOVE - common names cluster together, and removing the wrong record leaves yours in place.

Fill out the verification form and watch for the email
One last Remove My Information form asks for your email, full name, address, and phone number so they can "verify that you are the matching person" in their system. Fill it in and hit SUBMIT - a masked or secondary email you can open beats your primary here.
The page's own wording: after they receive and verify your information, they send an email within 48 hours, and clicking that email completes the removal. On our walk that email was not instant - so the request isn't done at SUBMIT. Set yourself a reminder, watch the inbox and spam folder for up to two days, and click through when it lands; an unfinished click-through is exactly how these removals quietly die.

Search your name on WeInform again after a week or two - the operator publishes no turnaround, and the guides that document this flow describe only a waiting period after verification. Run the same search on truthrecord.org too. It is the same company's other storefront, and if that listing is still standing, file its removal separately rather than assuming this one reached it. If your record is still up after a month, email support@weinform.org with your submission date and ask for status.

Check the other storefront next.TruthRecord is the same company's second site, and no source outside a third-party removal service says this request reaches it, so look yourself up there and file separately if you find a listing. No verification email: the site's own claim is up to 48 hours, and on our walk it wasn't instant - so give it the full two days and check spam before resubmitting with a different address. The removal doesn't process until you click the link.
The form answers 429 (Too Many Requests): it did on our first attempt too - for hours, while the platform's sibling sites kept working, so it's this form's own throttle rather than anything you did. Wait a few hours and try again; the retry went through cleanly.
The opt-out URL 404s: the flow has lived at several paths - /optOut/name/landing on the California registration, /opt_out/name/landing_page in Google's index, and the /api/helper/optOutLight/search form that worked on our walk - so start from the Do Not Sell My Info footer link if a saved URL dies.
