Each broker is scored 1 to 4 across the six dimensions above; higher means more exposure, and the overall gauge is their average.
What each dimension means
- Data published: how much and how sensitive the personal data they put out.
- Re-listing frequency: how quickly you reappear after opting out.
- Complaint record: the volume and pattern of complaints across BBB, Trustpilot, and Sitejabber. No listing, or a listing with no reviews, counts against the broker.
- Opt-out friction: how hard the removal process is to complete.
- Operator opacity: how hidden the operating company and its principals are.
- Prior data incidents: history of breaches or leaks of the data they hold.

Most brokers in this directory sell you as a consumer. Redi-Data sells you as a professional, and specifically as a clinician somebody wants to market to.

The pitch is "better data, better outcomes", and the homepage counts 14 million healthcare professional records, 1.4 million US physicians including MDs and DOs, 7 million state-licensed nurses, half a million nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and a quarter of a million dentists. Alongside them sit general business and consumer lists.
Clinician data has an origin that surprises people who assume marketing lists come from web tracking. Redi-Data calls itself an official database licensee of the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association, and its nurse, pharmacist and "state-licensed professionals" lists carry state licensure details, the information licensing boards publish so anyone can check a practitioner's credentials. Redi-Data assembles those sources into a marketable file and says it refreshes it monthly.
So the objection isn't that any fact was hidden. It's that records kept so a patient can verify their surgeon become, at scale, a targeting list for pharmaceutical and device promotion. The data follows your professional identity rather than your household, so a doctor opting out here is reducing how reachable they are as a prescriber, not protecting a home address.
Redi-Direct Marketing, trading since 1990 from the same Fairfield address, describes Redi-Data and Redi-Mail as its operating units on its own site. Its third unit, StayinFront, sells retail sales software and holds no consumer file this profile covers.
Its homepage carries a row of partner marks. Redi-Data's partners page names the American Medical Association and American Osteopathic Association as data licences, the Alliance for Audited Media as the auditor of its email deliverability, the Association of National Advertisers, and LiveRamp and The Trade Desk as the platforms its audience segments run on. A healthcare analytics firm's mark sits in the strip unexplained. Only the licences and platform placements are described by Redi-Data, so the rest are displayed affiliations, not evidence of a data-sharing arrangement.
Data Published
Data types
Sold as targeted mailing, email and programmatic audience lists rather than published anywhere searchable. Nothing here appears in a web search for your name.
Names and professional contact details for licensed clinicians
Discipline and specialty, for example MD, DO, NP, PA, RN or dentist
Practice location and business address
Workplace and personal email addresses and phone numbers for campaign targeting
State licensure status, specialty codes and, for physicians, prescribing and claims-based selections (ICD-10, CPT and Rx data)
Programmatic audience segments built from the same records for social, audio, video and connected TV
Business and consumer records outside healthcare, including self-reported ailment sufferers at household level
Being on a public licence register isn't the same as consenting to be marketed to. Boards publish practitioner details so credentials can be verified, not so the record can be enriched with prescribing data and sold as a promotional list, and clinicians are rarely asked.

Requests are handled by people, not a pipeline. The form says one of Redi-Data's data experts will process your request, and its privacy statement promises a response within 15 business days for opt-outs and 45 calendar days for deletions and access requests. The same statement says Redi-Data accepts feeds from authorised privacy agents, so a removal service can file here for you.
Reputation
Trust signals
Redi-Data sells to marketers, so the only people with an opinion of it are buyers of lists. The clinicians in the database have no relationship with the company and generally don't know it exists.
FAQ
Q & A
I'm a nurse or a doctor. How did Redi-Data get my details?
From professional sources rather than anything you filled in. Redi-Data licenses physician data from the AMA and the AOA, and its nurse and other professional lists carry the state licensure details licensing boards publish so credentials can be verified.
Which option should I pick on the form?
Choose deliberately, because Opt-out is pre-selected and it's the weakest of the five. Delete request is what most people actually want. Our Redi-Data removal guide sets out what each of the five does.
Will this stop pharmaceutical marketing reaching me?
It'll reduce one supply line, not all of them. Redi-Data is one list company among several selling clinician contact data, and licensing registries stay public regardless. Expect less rather than none, and treat this as one removal among several if the volume is a real problem.
Do I use my work details or my home ones?
Use the professional details, since that's how the record is built. Your practice address, work email and the name your licence is under are what will match, and a home address is unlikely to match anything here.
How long does it take?
Longer than most in this directory, because a person handles it. Redi-Data promises 45 calendar days for a deletion, and its 2024 California filing reported a 5-day mean and an 11-day median while granting every request it received.
Take yourself off data broker sites
Redact scans 120+ data broker sites from your device, finds where your details are listed, and submits the removal requests for you. If a broker relists you, it files again.
September 10, 2026 · Opt-out walked firsthand on August 18, 2026, before the guide was drafted; the eight fields, the four required ones and the pre-selected Opt-out default are from that screen. Rechecked September 10, 2026 against the served form, Redi-Data's site and a fresh pull of the California registry, all unchanged. The recheck corrected the homepage logo row (the ANA mark is the Association of National Advertisers, not a nursing body), attributed the physician data to AMA and AOA licences as Redi-Data describes them, sourced the Redi-Direct link to Redi-Direct's own site, and added the response promises and request counts from Redi-Data's privacy statement, updated June 22, 2026.
