How to remove your info from PeopleWhizr

The on-site removal search doesn't work. Tried again on September 9, 2026, it answered two separate control searches with an error page, while the site's ordinary search found records for the same name. So an error here tells you nothing about whether you're listed. Ask for removal by email at info@peoplewhizr.com or by phone on 833-276-9449 instead, and do PeopleWhiz separately, because its form does work.

Hand over as little as you can. Where a document is asked for, black out everything on it apart from the three things that establish who you are, meaning the name, the photograph and the birth date. A Social Security number or a complete driver's license number has no part in taking a record off a website, and the sibling brand's policy already says it keeps SSNs on file.

Open peoplewhizr.com/remove-my-info and follow Start By Searching Your Public Records Here to the removal search. Use an ordinary browser with content blockers off, because the page assembles itself in the browser and a script-blocked session shows an empty screen that proves nothing.

If records come back, save the listing details so PeopleWhizr can find the right record, then use the email or phone route below. If you get an error or an empty result, that's the broken state above, so move on rather than reading it as good news.

Email the request

Write to info@peoplewhizr.com and ask to be removed from PeopleWhizr's search results. Give your full name, your age and the cities a listing would show, so they can find the record, and say the removal search returns an error, with the date you tried it. Send from a masked or secondary address rather than your main one.

Screenshot the error, with the date showing. There's no registered operator to escalate to and no BBB file to complain on, so a dated capture of their own search failing is the strongest thing you'll hold if they later say no request ever arrived.

The removal search errors out. On September 9, 2026 two control searches for common names in large cities each ended on a page reading "We're Sorry - Something Went Wrong", suggesting you clear cookies or try another browser. Do both. The PeopleWhiz removal guide covers a working flow for a PeopleWhiz listing. Its registered operator can handle complaints about PeopleWhiz, but no published source says it can handle a PeopleWhizr complaint.

Come back in about ten days. Two different numbers are in play, five business days printed on the page and seven in the confirmation email the sibling sends, and the index takes another day or so on top of whichever one applies.

The usual check, searching yourself on the site, is unavailable here while the search is erroring, so go at it from outside instead. Look for your name next to site:peoplewhizr.com in a search engine. Listing pages get indexed, and that indexed copy is often the only visible sign of whether a page is still being served. Hold on to the emails and the dated captures. On this broker they really are your entire record.

You're in California. The Delete Act's registrant route has no obvious target here, since no registry entry exists for this company. Your CCPA deletion rights still hold against any business over the threshold, so put the request in writing, cite the CCPA rather than the Delete Act, and keep proof of when you sent it.

Put both domains on the same reminder and look every few months. Two corporations, two opt-outs, no evidence of a shared index, so what one says has no bearing on the other. Here it matters more than usual to spot a return quickly, because this is the site with the weakest route to anyone who can act on a complaint.

On August 7, 2026 the removal search rendered a blank screen; on August 18 it drew normally and returned no records for a control name; on September 9 it answered two control searches with an error page while the site's ordinary search found records for the same name.
