Our editorial assessment from public sources as of November 5, 2026. Each dimension is scored 1 to 4, higher means more exposure, and the overall gauge is their average, unless a confirmed breach holds it higher. It is an opinion, not a finding about the company's conduct or legal compliance. Dimensions marked "Editorial estimate" are estimated from the kind of service offered rather than observed on this site. How we score

Complaint record isn't established for this broker, so it's left out of the gauge rather than averaged in as a number nobody researched. The figure above is the average of the other five dimensions.

What each dimension means
  • Data published: how much and how sensitive the personal data they put out.
  • Re-listing frequency: how quickly you reappear after opting out.
  • Complaint record: the volume and pattern of complaints across BBB, Trustpilot, and Sitejabber. No listing, or a listing with no reviews, counts against the broker.
  • Opt-out friction: how hard the removal process is to complete.
  • Operator opacity: how hidden the operating company and its principals are.
  • Prior data incidents: history of breaches or leaks of the data they hold.

The site's privacy rights notice includes Florida, but the removal form does not offer Florida. Check the dropdown before searching, because the available states can change.

FAQ

Q & A

How do I remove my information from Glad I Know?

Search the opt-out form with the name, city, and state on your listing. Select the matching record with Remove, then complete the reCAPTCHA check and submit. Email is optional, but you can provide an address to receive confirmation from privacy@gladiknow.com. Follow our removal guide for the steps.

Does removal also cover OurStates?

It did in our test: in September 2026, OurStates returned the same records as Glad I Know, and one removal took the test record off both sites. OurStates has been offline since October 31, 2026, so there is nothing to search there now.

Can I remove a listing in another state?

The form only searches the 19 states in its dropdown. A listing in another state cannot be found through the form, even if you now live in a supported state.

Take yourself off data broker sites

Redact scans data broker sites from your device. The free scan shows which of your details are exposed but hides which broker lists you; Premium and Ultimate show where each listing is. They also submit the Glad I Know removal for you, re-scan about every 15 days and file again if your listing comes back.
