Honestly, this one's a bit of a scavenger hunt up front: FastPeopleSearch's opt-out runs through a direct URL that's not linked from the homepage. Head over to fastpeoplesearch.com/optout, fill out a short form with your name and email, click the link in the confirmation email, then fill out a longer "full form" with your DOB or street address and submit. About 5-10 minutes of active time; FastPeopleSearch says removal completes within 3 days or less.

The removal page is direct-URL only. There is no link from the FastPeopleSearch homepage or footer to the opt-out form. You must type or paste fastpeoplesearch.com/optout into the address bar directly.
The email link expires in 24 hours. If you don't click "Click here to fill out the form" within a day, you have to re-submit the first form to get a new link. I'd plan to do both forms in one sitting.
Don't forget the sibling sites USPhoneBook and PeopleSearchNow. Mississippi Tornado Alley LLC operates all three brands, and its filing says one request covers the sale of personal information across every site on it - but that is the operator's claim, we have not verified a record clears the siblings, and the collection opt-out is per-site either way. The flows are nearly identical, so I'd run all three back-to-back while the UX is fresh in your head.
Prereqs
A real email inbox you can check. FastPeopleSearch emails the link to the second form to the address you enter on the first form, and the opt-out doesn't advance until you click it. We'd suggest a forwarding address (Apple Hide My Email, Firefox Relay, SimpleLogin) rather than your primary inbox.
Your date of birth OR your street address. The second form requires one or the other - DOB if you don't want to provide a street address, or street address if you don't want to provide DOB. You don't need both.
Your name, city, state, and zipcode. All four are required on the second form.
The 4 steps
Type or paste fastpeoplesearch.com/optout into your browser. The page is titled "Do Not Sell/Right to Opt-out". Pick an option from the I am: dropdown, fill in First Name / Middle Name / Last Name and your email address, check the authorization box, solve the reCAPTCHA, and click the green SUBMIT button.
Check your inbox for an email from support@fastpeoplesearch.com titled with your privacy request. The body explains there's a second form to fill out and includes a dark "Click here to fill out the form" button. Click it. The link expires after 24 hours; if you wait too long you'll need to restart from step 1.
The second form asks for either a Date of Birth (Month/Day/Year dropdowns) OR a Street Address, plus required City, State, and Zipcode. Phone and email are also collected. Fill everything out accurately - the form warns that you cannot modify the information after submitting. Check the authorization box, solve the reCAPTCHA, and click the green SUBMIT button.
The submit lands you on a page titled "Opt-Out Request Submitted Successfully". It echoes the fields you submitted (first name, last name, DOB, phone, email, street address, city, state, zipcode) and says removal will complete in 3 days or less. Screenshot this page as evidence.
Confirm it worked
Troubleshooting
The email never arrives. Check spam / promotions for support@fastpeoplesearch.com. If it's not there after 30 minutes, re-submit the first form to generate a new link. Re-submitting doesn't queue duplicate requests because the second form is what creates the actual removal record.
You waited more than 24 hours to click the email link. The link expires. Restart from step 1 to generate a new one.
Old record still appears after 3 days. Clear cache first - the confirmation page specifically warns about stale cached copies. If it still appears after a fresh search, re-submit through the opt-out form and keep your submission dates and confirmation screenshots; the BBB customer-review tab documents repeat refusal-to-remove patterns, so your dated paper trail is what shows your request happened.
Multiple records under your name. What I've seen is that FastPeopleSearch commonly holds more than one record per person (old addresses, nickname variants, middle-name differences). Each is treated as a separate listing and needs its own opt-out submission.
You're being charged. The opt-out is free. FastPeopleSearch is ad-supported and does not run a paid subscription product directly. Any charge claiming to be from FastPeopleSearch is worth disputing with your card issuer.
Stay off
We recommend re-checking quarterly. FastPeopleSearch continuously re-scrapes public records, so a new listing can appear weeks or months after a successful opt-out as new property, voter, or directory data surfaces.
Watch for multiple profiles. In our experience, address changes, nickname variants, and middle-name differences each tend to produce separate FastPeopleSearch records. Re-check by all the name variants you've used, not just your current legal name.
Opt out of the USPhoneBook and PeopleSearchNow sibling sites on the same schedule. Mississippi Tornado Alley LLC operates all three brands, and we have not verified that a removal here reaches either sibling. I'd add both to the same quarterly re-check reminder so the trio stays in sync.
Suppress the upstream sources where possible. Whitepages, Spokeo, BeenVerified, and similar feed the same upstream public-records aggregators FastPeopleSearch uses. Removing your record from the larger brokers reduces the surface area FastPeopleSearch's scraper can rediscover.
I'd suggest using a forwarding mailbox or PO Box for non-essential mail. New property and voter records associated with a residential address are the biggest re-listing triggers we see.
Don't click the upsell ads on FastPeopleSearch. The surrounding ads route to other paid background-check sites (Spokeo, BeenVerified, TruthFinder) that publish similar data - clicking them does not help your removal and may seed the upsell broker with your IP or referrer.
Redact scans 120+ data broker sites from your device, finds where your details are listed, and submits the removal requests for you. If a broker relists you, it files again.
