How to mass remove Facebook pictures:

Step 1 – First thing you need to do is go download Redact.

Step 2 – After downloading the app, open it up and create a redact account for yourself. After registering, choose Facebook from the list of available platforms. You’ll then need to login to your Facebook account within the app, don’t worry it’s totally safe.

Step 3 – Choose your filters. We will go over them one by one.

FILTER OPTIONS

Date Range – Your first task is to tell the Redact App what time-frame to look at. If you want to target all your images. you should leave it on the default setting which is “All time” and “Now”. Otherwise, enter the dates you desire.

Post Type – Next, you need to tell the app what type of posts to search for images in. For the sake of this post, we will go with everything. You can play around with the filter settings on your own and you can test out various settings until you get the search results you desire.

Post Location – Where should the app look for images to delete?

Keywords to delete – You can tell Redact to only delete images from content that contains the following words. Enter as many or as few as you need.

Filter by attachment – Since we are only bulk deleting pictures, we only want the image box checked.

Keywords to preserve – This basically tells the app not to touch anything that contains the following keywords. This is basically a whitelist.

That’s basically it. Using the Redact App, you can quickly and easily automate the process of deleting large amounts of Facebook pictures at once. No more tirelessly clicking picture after picture, let Redact to the heavy lifting for you.
